Trillina Pubblico Deposited
A billon coin of Milan, of the value of one third of the Testone. It was introduced in the reign of Giovanni Maria Visconti (1402-1412), and was in use until the middle of the seventeenth century. The design on this coin, in the reign of Lodovico Maria Sforza (1494-1500), was made by Leonardo da Vinci during his stay at Milan.
