Anthropomorphic Design Pubblico Deposited

Definizione
  • Anthropomorphic Design.  A design represented in human form in a medallic art. While anthropomorphism is common in mythology, it is rare in art and numismatics. A recent example, however, is the American Association of Nurserymen Centennial Medal, 1975, which shows a tree on the reverse, the leaves of which form several human faces.
