Definition

• Argentin, Argentine.  Base alloy of tin and antimony, made to resemble silver; a white metal most always silverplated. Should the silverplate wear away (or be removed, as in a test cut) the under metal is almost the color of silver, only a shade lighter from the gray-white of silver.
