As-cast Público Deposited

Definición
  • As-cast.  The surface of a cast object as it comes from the mold and before any toning, tarnish, patina work or oxidation takes place. As-cast is comparable to coin finish a diestruck piece; it differs from rough cast in that rough cast is before chasing, as-cast can be at any stage as long as the surface has not toned, tarnished, or been patinaed. When the surface tones naturally it is said to be aged.
