Assembled Set Pubblico Deposited

Definizione
  • Assembled Set.  A group of numismatic or medallic items brought together later than when issued. Assembled sets always lack uniformity, individual specimens may differ minutely in color, wear, condition or such; as they had not "traveled the same road together;" (they aged in different environments with different degrees of care). Caution should be used however when applying this term in reference to items issued in series, as the last item often may not have the exact same characteristics as the first.  See SERIES.
