Ball Loop Público Deposited

Definición
  • Ball Loop.  A part of a medallic item in the shape of a sphere which connects the medal to a form of suspension, usually a ring. The ring passes through a hole drilled in the ball loop, always parallel with the medal. The ball loop may be an integral part of the medallic item – or it may be affixed to the medal by solder. It is similar to a barrel

loop, both are shaped like their namesakes, and are in contrast to a lug (which is indistinct in shape).  See loop
