Bronzing Público Deposited

Definição
  • Bronzing.  Coloring any substance – metal, plaster or such – to give it a bronze appearance. Bronzing is a coating which when applied to a surface gives it an aesthetic appearance, protection or prevents any discoloration. The item to be bronzed must be made electrically conductive – by spraying or coating – as with a copper bronze powder, which when placed in an electrolytic tank the object (as baby shoes, or a medallion) becomes coated with copper; afterwards finished. Medals have been bronzed as part of a finishing process, and even bronze medals have been bronzed to obtain

a desired finish. Medals have been bronzed since 1809.
