Brooch Bar Öffentlichkeit Deposited
- Brooch Bar. A metal shell frame from which one or more ribbon drapes with pendant medals are hung. The frame has a pin and catch on the back along with a slot at the top of the back where the ribbon is folded over and the end is sewn to the back of each ribbon. The ribbons are exposed within the gilt frame. This suspension system is ideal for a group of military CAMPAIGN MEDALS and DECORATIONS for wearing on a uniform. Collectors are more apt to call a similar suspension system a HEADER for a ribbon drape, or a “name card header” if this is present, particularly for a convention badge.
