Cabinet Friction 上市 Deposited
- Cabinet Friction. Slight surface wear on a coin or medal, usually on the reverse, from its tray or container. Cabinet friction first appears on high points as bright areas of wear, also known as contact marks. Some numismatic writers state the term is also a fanciful expression for wear on an uncirculated item.Reference: NE42 {1982} Doty, p 44.
