Chinese White Public Deposited
- Chinese White. A white powdery material (zinc oxide) made into a liquid and used in engraving to cover a metal surface – as a die or medal – to be marked, scribed or drawn upon prior to engraving. It is also used in painting as a whie water color paint. Compare zinc white, precipitated chalk, dye blue.
