  • Coining Press.  A press designed to produce coins, medals, tokens, or similar pieces with a single blow; it utilizes collar dies, some form of high speed feed system where pre- formed blanks are fed into position and some form of ejection system to knock out the item from the collar after the piece is struck.  See presses and pressroom practice.
