Cold Coining, Cold Pressing Öffentlichkeit Deposited
- Cold Coining, Cold Pressing. Striking blanks between dies in a press at room temperature; without the application of heat to the blanks. (If heat is applied it is a process of hot stamping, machining or forging.) Cold coining in theory and practice gives a sharper impression than one with heat applied.
