Corner Radius Öffentlichkeit Deposited
- Corner Radius. A juncture of two plains, ideally at 90°, but with a quarter circular radius instead of a sharp angular corner. Corner radaii are either inside or outside. A principle of metalworking where the tool points – particularly a tracing point or a cutting point in diecutting – cannot reach and form such inside corners. Thus the sides of relief has this slope near the point where it reaches the background (see bevel). This condition does not necessarily exist for hand engraved dies nor for dies made with punches; these have a sharper juncture.
