Definition Publique Deposited
- Definition. Distinctness, clarity of detail, sharpness of relief; the finely executed detail of a numismatic or medallic design or model. Designs with high definition are highly prized in the coin and medal field. Models must be made with a crispness of all relief. Those techniques in the field which preserve definition are employed over those which do not, as the use of electrodeposition, high quality pantographs and such.
