Definizione

• Delacquer.  The removal of existing lacquer before further reprocessing, usually in refinishing. Old lacquer is removed by immersion in a solvent: acetone is best, but alcohol, or turpentine can be used. Lacquer should only be removed for good reason, as uneven, unsightly, or for refinishing of a medallic item. No lacquer should be removed unless a fresh coating of lacquer is reapplied to protect this surface.
       Caution:  These chemicals are highly flamable and   
   can cause skin irritation over prolonged exposure. Use  
   these solvents, particularly acetone or alcohol, with   
   care in a well-ventilated area.
