Dent Pubblico Deposited

Definizione
  • Dent.  A gouge in the surface of a coin or medal; or such an imperfection in a die (which would cause a raised lump on any piece struck from that die). In either case, a dent can be removed by chasing. (A depression in metal surface intended by the designer is called a dapple and one way of applying is a dapple tool.)
