Depth Gauge Público Deposited

Definición
  • Depth Gauge.  A tool for measuring the depth of depression on a model or die, in effect the height of the modulated relief from the lowest point to a set point, often the rim or a high point.

Derivative Design.  A coin or medal design copied from a previous design. A design derived from an existing one, but brought up-to-date with additional detail or inscriptions.

Generally, it is more than one element of the design, as an entire scene replicated for a new issue, as the device of one anniversary medal reproduced for a later anniversary medal.
