Diamond Point Engraving Öffentlichkeit Deposited
- Diamond Point Engraving. A form of machine engraving in which the cutter point is very hard, most often made of diamond, hence the name. It is a form of drag engraving, where the cutter point does not rotate, but creates a furrow by dragging the point across the metal surface under pressure. The engraved line is very shallow and the displaced metal is pushed aside to further enhance the illusion of a deeper line. See machine engraving.
