Définition

• Formee.  A cross with four arms, each of which is narrow near the center and widens toward the edge, the edge must be straight (without any retroversion). Such shape nearly fills a square. An Iron Cross is a formee cross. In heraldry this shape is also called pattee or paty.  See cross.
