Full Strike Público Deposited
- Full Strike. A die-struck item completely struck up with surface metal filling every crevice of the die, with HIGH POINT intact, and no WEAKLY STRUCK areas visible at anywhere on the item’s surface. It is necessary to use this term when other items of similar variety struck at the same time are weakly struck. On modern coining presses a full strike can be achieved by increasing the pressure of the blow, thus these terms are employed on early coining activity.
