  • Gloss.  A moderately lustrous reflective finish from a fairly smooth metallic surface; between satin and bright dip. Gloss is the highest reflective finish obtainable from the process of patina coloring without any mechanical action such as polishing or burnishing.  See reflectiveness, patina.
