Gold Bar Pubblico Deposited

Definizione
  • Gold Bar.  Gold fashioned into a form for transportation and storage; depending upon size, they are called fillets, wafer, ingot, bar or brick. Usually gold bars are marked with

weight and fineness, sometimes with identity and location of refiner. The purpose of such markings are to preclude the gold from being assayed each time the gold is transferred.

Some historical gold bars are archived, even collected by numismatists when they come on the market.
