  • Group.  Two or more decorations issued to the same recipient and intended to be

    worn together; these are usually mounted on the same brooch or bar, also called group mounted. Also three or more medallic items presented to the same person; issued as a set; or intended to remain together because of some common interest. (Two such items are known as a pair.) Should either of these become separated they are known as a broken group or broken set.
