Lenticular Öffentlichkeit Deposited

Definition
  • Lenticular.  A shape of a medal like a lens, made with rounded edges and struck from dies made from two domed models. The shape would be described as convex-convex.

Medals struck from a pair of old dies which both have sunk excessively would exhibit somewhat of a lenticular shaped piece.  See domed.
