Mini Medal Pubblico Deposited

Definizione
  • Mini Medal.  A small medal, particularly one reduced in size from a larger medal. The term is a corruption for MINIATURE and is used for the small size versions of medals usually one-half the size of the larger. Two series issued by the United States Mint – Presidents and Mint Building – have a corresponding mini version, 3-inch medals reduced to 1 5/16- inch size. (A separate class of small medals exist at the U.S. Mintcabinet medals – but these are not called mini medals since they were originally issued only in small size.)  See miniature
