Definizione

• Mint Medal.  A medal made at a national mint. In the United States this includes national medals (medals of a national character), congressional medals (those authorized by Congress) and list medals (those issued to be sold by the Mint). Such medals are in contrast to those made of private issue, by a private mint, medallic company or by an artist in his own studio.
