Definition

• Module.  The diameter of a coin or medal. The module presumes the piece is round so one measurement is obviously diameter (two dimensions would imply a coin or medal that is not round – oval, rectangular, or irregularly shaped). The word is French and is expressed symbolically as ?.  See diameter.
