- Multiple Clipped. Blanks with more than one clip, as made from blanking too near previous blanked areas, from too near the edge of the strip – or from a combination of these – to form straight-edge clips or arc-shaped clips. When two, three or (rarely) four of these appear on one blank they are known as multiple clipped. See clipped planchet.
