• Optical Illusion Spinner.  A medal which when spun both obverse and reverse appear as one view. Some collectors call these edge spinners. They are made with pins and pivots mounted in the edge and a ring or partial ring, so that the medal spins and the view will be in register. die alignment is critical when these are struck.  See spinner.
