Original Case Público Deposited

Definição
  • Original Case.  The case (box, holder) in which a medallic or numismatic item, was originally issued.  Original cases are important – not only for protecting the housed item – but also for any lettering on the outside of the case or on the liners inside. This inscription may identify the maker, the artist, the issuing organization, the date, or other data. Original cases are desirable to keep with the item and should never be discarded, even in poor condition. See case.
