Plug Blank Publique Deposited

Définition
  • Plug Blank.  The center blank that fits within one or more ring blanks to form a bimetallic (or trimetallic) item. The plug blank is inserted within the ring blank before the item is struck. Plug blanks are made with normal blanking technology; ring blanks must form the center hole aperture with close tolerances to allow insertion of the plug blank. They are in a metal in contrasting color to the one or more ring blanks for greatest visual effects in a bimetallic or trimetallic struck item.
