  • Reducing Lathe.  A die-cutting pantograph or transfer lathe for reducing a three-dimension bas-relief design while simultaneously cutting the die. The pantograph has the ability to reduce the design customarily in a ratio from three- to five- to-one, but can reduce up to ten-to-one for most models.  See pantograph,
