Definition

• Rosette.  (2) A cloth ribbon arranged in multiple folds to form a rose-like object. These rosettes are often applied to ribbons of decorations; or in larger size can be used with a back ribbon, or attached to medals. Infrequently these are used as a ribbon badge alone with a pinback.
