Definizione

• Sculptor's Copy.  A medallic item bestowed to the sculptor or creator of the item as a complete medal (usually in bronze), or a pair of clichés, for his personal collection. If it is one of the early strikes and so marked, it could be an artist’s proof. This custom is a professional courtesy extended to the artist by the medallic company or issuer. Also called sculptor's medal.
