Surface Deformation Público Deposited

Definición
  • Surface Deformation.  A cast object's most obvious surface imperfections. Surface deformations are caused by a number of reasons including: occluded gas (improper sprueing), insufficient metal (pouring anomalies), or cooling too fast (freezing out) before the mold was filled. These surface blemishes most often appear as a scab or a void. All such casts would be immediately rejected and recast.  An internal defeciency is termed simply, deformation, but in most instances it affects the surface as well.
