• Traceable.  Evidence on a medal, as a name or serial number, which can identify the original owner or recipient of a medal by searching some archive or records. This is particularly useful for decorations where knowledge of the original military person can be obtained. Knowing the name gives greater importance to the medals and his military activity can be revealed.
