Tracing Stylus Público Deposited

Definición
  • Tracing Stylus.  A metal tip used on a tracer controlled engraving machine which is guided by hand in the groves of template letters or engraving masters for flat engraving. The stylus controls an arm which pantographically reduces (or enlarges) the design, transferring this to the cutter tip which engraves the piece being so engraved.  See pantograph, machine engraving.
