Definition

• Triangle Fold Ribbon.  A method of suspending a medal by an economical folded ribbon. The ribbon is often formed around a thin metal stiffener in a cheaply made service medal. For example, Austria made triangle fold ribbons around a concealed triangular wire; Russia around triangular shaped aluminum. It is made in contrast to a ribbon drape
