Definition

• Unpublished.  Not cataloged or reported in standard reference works or the literature of the field.  A newly discovered variety of a coin or medal is said to be unpublished before this fact is published in the literature. Medals – which are considered published when they are issued – but which are not yet ready for publication are called unedited.
