Definición

• Without Border.  No border elements; the field extends to the edge of the numismatic piece. Medallic items without borders are usually irregularly-shaped, but not always. Since the eye is more accustomed to viewing a medallic piece with a border, it is somewhat like viewing a picture without it's frame. Vignettes are medallic designs without a border.
