Definición

• Spanish: Verdigris, a green growth on formed on copper, brass and bronze objects that is difficult to stop. The deposit is created when coins are in a moist environment. Once the deposit covers the coin it blocks further oxidation on the piece. Also called incrusted patina, bronze disease and copper cancer.
