  • A small copper coin struck by the Aragon kings for Sicily and Naples, first issued 1458-1494 by Fernando I. It bore a figure of a horse. It changed several times before it was abandoned in the late 1600s. This was abandoned in the 1500s, but the coin kept its Italian name. The coin was struck in multiples of 2, 3, and 4 cavalli.
