Definición

• Spanish: A contraction or monogram used to denote the name of a king, mint or assayor. Such devices are in the colonial period mintmarks of Mexico City, Lima, and Potosi, Bolivia. The monogram mintmark of Lima, Peru has all of its letters in Latin: LIMAE.
