Definizione

• A silver coin, later billon, first issued by Castilla�s Alfonso X (1252-1284). It was discontinued in the early 1500s. Its denominations included 2, 4, 8 cornados and a half cornado. The word means �crowned� and refers to the crowned bust on the coin.
