  • An Al Andalus Arab silver and billon coin that circulated during the re-conquest and resettling of the plains of Leon by Ordo�o I (850-866 CE). This was one of the coins the Moz�rabes were accustomed to using while moving north into Spain. It usually referred to as a coin minted in Toledo of a higher grade of billon, probably 30% silver. A version was minted by Castillians 1085-1086 CE, but using Islamic dates of 478 H and 479 H.
