- A silver coin of different values in Italian states during the 1500s and 1600s. Such coins were minted in Milan, by Carlos V, Felipe II, Felipe III and Felipe IV and in the Brabante by Felipe III and Felipe IV. It was also issued in half, double and triple ducatones. 2. A gold coin for Naples and Sicily issued by Alfonso I from 1442 to 1458. It was issued with the usual denomination of ducats. Also ducatone.
