Electroforming Pubblico Deposited
- A metal forming process that creates medals and items through electrodeposition or electroplating on a model, called a mandrel in the industry. This technique can reproduce minute details of a coin. Foundry casting reproduces detail down to 1/100 of an inch, die striking captures detail down to 1/1000 of an inch, but electroforming reproduces down to the width of an atom!
