• Spanish: Heraldic. The complex art of creating and interpreting coats of arms. A highly symbolic use of coats of arms on coins with a complex terminology. Vital for identifying the origin and dates of certain coins. The rules of blazoning allow us to read the colors of crests on coins: Blue is horizontal lines, red is vertical lines, diagonals green or purple, crosshatching is black, a small dot pattern is gold and no lines mean silver.
