• Spanish: Vignette book. The American Bank Note Company 1869-1884 had a great variety of steel engravings of outdoor scenes, statesmen, farming, industry and technology. It would use these to produce many varieties of now rare vignette books for client prospects around the world. Other banknote companies created similar books.
