Lingote Öffentlichkeit Deposited

- Ingot or bar. Finger ingots are crude gold finger-shaped bars found in wrecks of Spanish ships that sank in the mid-1600s. They were about 17 cm long, 2 cm wide and 50 mm thick. They usually had official stampings, tax seals and the king�s 20% noted and removed. Small, cylindrical assayer's bites, fineness markings like �XIX� are also seen.
